IRRFAN-tastic:from Salaam Bombay to being Mumbai's Clooney

In a world of heroes, he was an actor, and in the world of actors, he was the hero, Irrfan khan, probably the finest of Indian cinema left his millions of followers in tears and turned this already horrific year into an absolute nightmare. Oftenly called as the Indian Maverick and sometimes as Mumbai's Clooney, Irrfan removed his title khan during his acting days which was similic to enlightening a much needed change in the industry, and it symbolized kicking off nepotism and lineage-based heroship.
The cinematic career of this acting legend was full of ups and downs. Officially his first film was Salaam Bombay in 1988, in which, he was initially offered the lead role of Salim, but later due to the last minute altercations of the director it was changed and he had to satiate his thirst for acting with a minor side role. The actor's career boosting film was Maqbool, rated 8.1 on IMDB in which he got a prime role for the first time. One of his dialogues in his classic Life... in a metro is perfectly apt for his life which says,"Yeh sheher humein jitna deta hai, badle mein kahin zyada le leta hai", truely and unfortunately, Cinema ka Sheher, never gave him even 1/10th of what this performing artist gave it. He not only showered his brilliance in the Indian Industry( as he hated the word, Bollywood), but also showcased his brilliance in Oscar winning magesties like Slumdog Millionaire and Life of Pi.
Mourning over the loss of a dear one is very natural and absolutely necessary, but as the veteran said, " I suppose, in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go"
Till the next Irrfan comes, his memories are enough to last a lifetime.
